Privacy policy

Summary

This policy applies to LoopGIF (loopgif.net). "We" and "us" mean LoopGIF.

You need an account to make a GIF. We store your account details, the images you upload, the clips we generate, and your payment history. We do not sell personal information.

What we collect

Account. Email address, name (optional) and a hashed password, or the identity returned by a social sign-in provider you choose.

Your images and prompts. We store the images you upload, your prompts, and AI-generated clips or GIFs. Uploaded images are re-encoded to a square JPEG, which removes metadata such as location. Depending on the tool, we send your image and motion text to a video-generation provider, or your text prompt to an image-generation provider. These providers may retain data under their own policies. We aim to delete stored uploads and AI outputs about 30 days after a job finishes, and unused uploads after 24 hours. Free browser-based tools process their files in your browser.

Payments. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive the order amount, the product you bought and a payment reference, never your card number.

Usage. Server logs (IP address, time, endpoint) kept for security and debugging, and privacy-respecting analytics if enabled.

Cookies

We set a session cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising cookies.
